About
My name is Regan Wilson and I’m a dietitian and a certified personal trainer. You’ve heard that question, “If there was one job you would do even if you weren’t getting paid, what would it be?” For me that job is helping people figure out how to lose weight.

I earned a BS in psychology in 1996 and worked in social services for many years. The job I had (it was a job, not a calling or even a career, but a job) wasn’t particularly rewarding so I decided to try something new for a couple of months. That something new didn’t work out and I was stumped. I sat talking with my husband and some friends one night and they all asked me, “What do you really want to do? If you could do anything, what would it be?” I thought about it for all of 15 seconds and said, “I want to help people lose weight.” So I went back to school. I studied nutrition and exercise science, earned a BS in dietetics, completed the thousand hours of internship, passed the exam and became a registered dietitian and a certified personal trainer.
Looking back, it makes sense. I love food. I mean, I really love food. And I’m driven to figure out what motivates people.
I live in Cedar City, UT with my husband Shon and my little dog Lola. I enjoy walking my dog, hiking while my husband drives his Jeep, riding my bicycle, cooking, eating, reading and spending time with family and friends. I work at Cedar Ridge Family Medicine as a weight loss counselor.
I look forward to sharing useful, fact-based information and advice that will help you in your weight loss efforts.
